Black Shetland ewe at Leatherwood Creek Farm

On our small Tennessee fiber farm, we raise purebred Tunis and Shetland sheep for the love of heritage breeds and the beautiful wool they produce. Every skein begins with careful pasture management, gentle handling and selective breeding for both fleece quality and breed integrity.

After shearing, we hand-pick fleeces, skirt them by hand, and send them to trusted small mills for slow, intentional spinning. The result is yarn with true character: the bounce and warmth of Tunis, the natural colors and softness of Shetland, the rustic charm only real wool can offer.

Our yarns are made in small batches, naturally varied by season, sheep, and weather—giving makers the chance to create one-of-a-kind heirloom pieces. Whether you knit, crochet, spin or weave, we hope our fiber brings the beauty of our flock into your hands and your home.
